Her stance is almsot unnaturaly perfect, it looks almsot like she is crouched touchign her toes but at secondglace you see the other leg perfectly alined with her spine. Wonderfull photo the balance and color is perfect the the hair fall is natural and balances the pictured even better.
Unfortunately I have to agree. While it's merely an opinion, I don't see much artistic value in this piece. I do tend to see a lot of nude pieces (almost always women) in the Daily Deviation section that often get featured. While I have nothing against artistic nudes, it seems half of the time that don't have much artistic value in them, which sadly leads me to believe that they were suggested/featured merely for their (usually) sexual subject matter. This almost seems like it should be in a playboy magazine rather than an art website, as all it seems to be is a woman doing an (odd) pose. I don't see anything meaningful in the picture, and the photo itself isn't anything special.
But again, this is only my opinion. I don't have anything against the artist, I just don't like the picture.
I concur. Whenever a daily deviant has been handed down by a mod regarding whatever the subject matter may be, usually porn...erm, nude pics. Almost always click on the person who chose 2 give this out, 9 time out of 10, they're taste and opinions leave u wanting to rush to the lavatory and hurl up whatever u had for breakfast, lunch, dinner...etc.
Both these opinions matched my thought on this very um...particular picture. Perfectly!
"A Daily Deviation is intended to give an artist a chance to be seen by a large portion of the community and as not everyone has the same tastes, it is obvious that you may not appreciate every piece that is selected as a daily deviation.
If you have a problem with a particular Daily Deviation feature, do NOT leave your disapproval among the other comments on the piece. It is disrespectful to the artist featured, the person who chose it and/or the person that suggested it.
If you absolutely must voice your disapproval of a selected feature, feel free to note $Moonbeam13 however, unless the image violates policy in some way, it is highly unlikely it will be removed.
In severe cases, if you "flame" or harass a featured artist, you may be banned."
i think the TV being to close to her head makes a very big 'blotch' effect that takes away from the movement of the piece. Maybe if it was farther away so there was a gap between her dark hair and the tv screen? or even if she was facing away from the tv to level out the color. But wow! I love the idea and the colors! And congrats on the DD! fabulous work.
